Ava Huseini (34) is a theatre and film actress. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje, in the class of Prof. Zoja Buzalkovska, M.A., and Assistant Prof. Aleksandar Stepanuleski, M.A. She earned her Master’s degree on the topic “The Cinematography of Milcho Manchevski” at the State University of Ankara, Department of Radio, TV, and Film. After graduation, she has performed in the following professional theatre productions:

As a coordinator and educator, she has implemented the projects “From Play to Theatre” and “From Dream to Reality”, both supported by the Ministry of Culture. She has participated in numerous theatre workshops, including: Sanford Meisner workshop with Zoja Buzalkovska, Vsevolod Meyerhold workshop with Aleksandar Acev, Short Cuts workshop with Aida Buković, What Is Funny (Šta je smešno) workshop with Tomaž Janežič, Through Space workshop with Ivana Balabanov, and has also been part of a five-day psychodrama festival at the Research and Creative Center of Tomaž Janežič.
Since 2021, she has been one of the founding members of the Association for Cultural, Artistic, and Educational Activities “Shtrih” in Skopje, where she works as a producer and project coordinator.
